What "lesson from mom" do you still live by today?   Treat others as you want to be treated.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?  In a little village just outside of Leos hometown of Banska Bystrica where there is a "castle" nesteled in the foothills.  The most content times of my life were spent there with Leos dreaming of our future.

What’s the craziest thing you have done?  Lots of things to write but not sure the statute of limitations have run out on all of them so...

Hey I married a crazy Bohemian man and opened a brewery....I think that might be enough for this lifetime!

Favorite Bier: The Bier De Garde chasing a Bloody Mary. 🙂

What "lesson from mom" do you still live by today? Her selflessness and willingness to drop everything to help any of her kids out. With two kids of my own, I strive to be as good a mom to them as my mom is to me.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be? In a cabin in the middle of the woods on a secluded lake with a roaring fire, stars twinkling in the sky, listening to the crickets chirp, the owls hoot, & the waves crashing on the shoreline.

What’s the craziest thing you have done? Hmmm....do roller coasters count as crazy? I tend to shy away from anything too outlandish, so I'll change this to my favorite things to do: Curl up with a good book on a rainy day, sing at the top of my lungs to the shuffling of my Ipod, play a board game with my family & friends, make home-made cards for the ones I love, watch a theatre play and dream of being a Broadway star in my next life.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done? Hmmm. I’d have to say injuring myself when joining the Dirty Girl Mud Run. I was so excited to go through the mud…well needless to say, it was just my luc that when jumping off the first obstacle (a large inflatable, which was seriously maybe 2 feet from the ground –  not high at all), I heard the loudest popping noise and my knee buckled. I was so mad because we hadn’t even gotten to the muddy part of the run yet, so I was bound and determined to keep hobbling through the 5K. I did get to play in the mud a little😊.  My stubborness preventing me from getting an MRI for 2 years and the surgeon was a little disgusted. He said I was just shy of a total knee replacement and would have been one of the youngest ones he would do a knee replacement on…if it came to that. Oops. Luckily, it was just a total ACL reconstruction meniscus repair.

Favorite Bier: My favorite bier(s) is dependent on the season. Enjoy fall time Oktoberfest and gradually cozy up to Bohemian Dark.  Spring into early aromas of LSD (lavender, sunflower, and date) from Indeed and Pilsners.  Hefeweizen and IPAs for summer sipping.

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today? When there’s an opportunity, go for it!

Favorite Bier:  My “go to” is the Dark Lager at Lazy Monk, and I love the Irish Red. I have been getting into IPAs lately, which typically has not been my style at all. I also really appreciate Matacabras from Dave’s Brew Farm.

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today? My mom always kept a clean house, but when compnay was coming over she would detail the entire place. I never understood why she would spend hours before a party cleaning the house spotless just so the party could make it messy again. Twenty lears later, I do the same thing.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be? I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some pretty awesome places, but I’ve never made it to Europe. I would love to go to Italy and eat all of the amazing Italian food. I’d also love to go to France with a former roommate of mine. She is from France and could show me the “non-tourist” side of France.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done? When I was around 8-9 years old, I climbed over a fence in the Badlands to get a better look at how far up I was. I didn’t have a fear of heights at all. I was right on the edge looking down the side of a gorge that was over a mile to the bottom. I about gave my mother a heart attack. I didn’t think it was crazy, but everyone else in my family sure did.
