Spring has arrived, and we are delighted to be done with (knock on the wood) that white stuff! After surviving this crazy winter, we have a stellar month of May in store for you and so many things to share!

In the Brewhouse
Our customer favorite, Bier de Garde, has returned to hit a home run this season! Translated to “Bier for Keeping,” the Biere de Garde is a French-Belgian farmhouse ale with notes of citrus throughout and a dry finish. While it’s an unfiltered and stronger bier, it will become your favorite summer time bier.

Also returning this month is the deliciously tart Berlinerweiss, a German wheat beer style dating back to the 16th century and currently only found in two German breweries. Who else can you trust to brew such a traditional German bier than a brewery who specializes in these European bier styles?! And this year we’ve put a new spin on it by adding raspberry!

Both of the Bier de Garde and the Berlinerweiss are perfect for hot summer days on the lake and cool summer nights on the patio. Look for them on tap and in 4-packs!

10 Years, New Look
It’s hard to believe, but we are coming up on our 10 year Anniversary next year and we couldn’t be more excited! Who remembers the original tap room?!  As we move forward now is the time for a fresh new rebranding.  Don’t worry your beloved Lazy Monk will still make appearances but a classy new can design and other items will be coming your way by Fall.

To our beloved Dark Lager fans, please note that the dark cans are almost gone, so the Bohemian Dark Lager will be packaged in the yellow cans until the new cans come in.

Summer Hours
Beginning May 1st, our summer hours will start and are as follows:
Sunday 12-10p
Monday 2-8p
Tuesday – Thursday 2-10p
Friday 2-11p

Soft Pretzel Saturdays

In honor of Craft Bier Week, we’ve jam-packed a variety of fun things for you to join in on!

Common Thread Special Bier
The annual Common Thread collaboration brew features an ensemble cast of Wisconsin’s small & independent brewers, working together to design and craft a fresh, innovative new beer in celebration of Wisconsin’s rich brewing heritage and to raise a toast to Wisconsin’s beer lovers. Proceeds of Common Thread go to the Wisconsin Brewers Guild, our non-profit trade
organization which actively promotes and supports the interests of Wisconsin’s small and independent breweries.

This year’s Common Thread Bier is a Tart Cranberry Wit. It’s a Belgian-inspired unfiltered wheat ale with a tempting citrus/cranberry fruitiness, velvety smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness and juicy-
